Topic Axis Self-Operated — 08 Next Macro Decision
08 — Next Macro Decision (Workstream G)
Decision rule
Choose the largest next macro that can proceed without waiting on a human gate. UI deploy is operator-gated (can't self-start); owner decisions are now queued (AXR-TOPIC-01..14, pending). Content work needs no approval.
Chosen primary
INFORMATION_PIECE_CONTENT_WORK_ON_CANDIDATE_TOPIC_SURFACE
Rationale: it is fully engineering-actionable now on the live candidate surface (doc 04 content-map), requires no human gate, and is the largest value stream that can run immediately. It runs in parallel with the owner draining the live AXR-TOPIC-* approval queue — neither blocks the other. This satisfies the rule "if DRAFT approvals are live and owner can review, choose owner-decision macro only if it includes parallel content work" by making content the primary and owner-review the parallel track.
Parallel / queued tracks
RP_UI_AXIS_SURFACE_DEPLOY— operator splitsaxis-handlers-bundle-2026-06-04.tsinto 10 routes + components,docker build+ redeployincomex-nuxt. Operator-gated; deploy-ready, no rediscovery.TOPIC_AXIS_OWNER_DECISION_AND_TAXONOMY_PROMOTION— owner drains AXR-TOPIC-01..14: activate axis, approve roots, authorise per-node taxonomy dry-run/commit (unretirable births), promote assignments. Human + GOV gate.TOPIC_AXIS_AUTOMATION_EDGE_POPULATION— after promotion + AXR-TOPIC-13 verb ratification, insert the 2 KG routing rows + improvement (AXR-TOPIC-14); PIV-327/328 then compute.
Why not a tiny approval-only macro
The approval queue is already live and self-service; pointing the next macro at "file approvals" would be redundant. Content work is the substantive next step that moves the product forward while the owner reviews.
Exact next action
Begin INFORMATION_PIECE_CONTENT_WORK_ON_CANDIDATE_TOPIC_SURFACE: cluster the 10 knowledge_graph IUs + 5 architecture IUs into authored knowledge pieces using the shared-IU adjacency graph (doc 04); surface gaps for owner. In parallel, hand the owner the live query SELECT * FROM approval_requests WHERE code LIKE 'AXR-TOPIC-%' ORDER BY priority DESC.
