READY-TO-ASSEMBLE-LEGO1 — Index — 2026-06-22

Package: knowledge/dev/laws-new/reports/ready-to-assemble-lego1/ (15 documents: index + 01–13 + codex-review-packet) + reports-level macro rollup. Readback-confirmed directory count = 15. Builds on (accepted, not reopened): Codex ACCEPT_RS5B_CLOSEOUT_PATCH2_LEGO_READINESS_SEAL (PASS_WITH_CAVEATS); stop state RS5B_CLOSEOUT_PATCH2_ACCEPTED_LEGO1_READY_FOR_PLAN_REGISTRATION_HOLD. Verdict: READY_TO_ASSEMBLE_LEGO1_PACKAGE (not forced). Chosen LEGO #1: C1 — canonical_operation vocabulary contract carrier (closeout carrier P2-C1). Gate: REGISTRATION_HOLD · REGISTRATION_CAN_PROCEED = NO · 0 runtime mutations · P2 CLOSED · NOT_OPENED · NOT_AUTHORIZED · no named lane opened · no Chairman authorization asserted to exist. Evidence tier: AgentData KB direct read (controlling Codex PATCH2 accept + full PATCH2/PATCH1/closeout packages) plus live read-only runtime discovery against the directus governance schema (counts, column-absence, vocabulary-absence, build-authorization surface). No chat summary / memory / prior READY prose used as proof.

What this package is

A one-shot preparation package that makes the system ready for the real assembly of LEGO #1 from the preparation side only. After acceptance, no further preparation work (design, oracle, dependency, rollback, test, evidence, readiness) should remain. The only legitimate remaining work is authority/execution: Gate B acceptance, exact-scoped Chairman authorization, runtime/write authorization, and the actual execution window.

It does not open P2, does not open a named lane, does not create the carrier, does not write runtime, does not assert any Chairman authorization exists, and does not clear REGISTRATION_HOLD.

Reading order

  1. 01-source-register-and-input-lock-2026-06-22.md — Codex-mindset posture (mandatory); direct-read register of the controlling Codex PATCH2 accept + PATCH2/PATCH1/closeout packages with metadata; input lock (Agent may choose LEGO #1 and do read-only discovery; no Gate B / Chairman token / write authority).
  2. 02-read-only-repo-schema-test-evidence-inventory-2026-06-22.md — live read-only inventory of the directus governance schema; every command classified READ_ONLY_SAFE / WRITE_RISK_NOT_RUN / UNKNOWN_RISK_NOT_RUN.
  3. 03-lego1-carrier-candidate-selection-and-risk-ranking-2026-06-22.md — C1–C7 scored on nine risk axes; C1 chosen; why not the alternatives; exact assembly unit; out-of-scope and scope-drift definition.
  4. 04-lego1-carrier-specific-contract-boundary-2026-06-22.md — C1 generate/check/update/rollback boundaries, each with input/output/valid/invalid/reject code; no-mega-registry / no-silent-carrier-creation attestation.
  5. 05-lego1-dependency-map-and-contract-join-points-2026-06-22.md — C1 incoming (none — root producer) and outgoing (E1 → C2) edges; contract join points; bad input → expected rejection; proven from sources, not assumed.
  6. 06-lego1-build-plan-not-executed-2026-06-22.md — real assembly steps, exact surfaces likely to change, exact later commands; every command labelled WRITE_PLANNED_NOT_RUN / DRY_RUN_PLANNED_NOT_RUN / READ_ONLY_ALREADY_RUN / UNKNOWN_RISK_NOT_RUN.
  7. 07-lego1-check-test-and-adversarial-matrix-2026-06-22.md — valid / invalid / adversarial / regression / preflight / post-assembly / rollback / evidence / authority-boundary tests; bad inputs beyond happy path; no invalid input may produce PASS/digest/seal.
  8. 08-lego1-rollback-and-recovery-plan-not-executed-2026-06-22.md — C1 rollback meaning/forbiddens; successor rule; forward-fail-closed; mapped to RBP-0..RBP-10; rollback commands WRITE_PLANNED_NOT_RUN.
  9. 09-lego1-dry-run-and-read-only-preflight-plan-2026-06-22.md — current-state read-only checks; what must be rerun immediately before assembly; preflight PASS/FAIL.
  10. 10-lego1-evidence-log-hash-and-readback-plan-2026-06-22.md — before/after snapshots, hashes, diffs, logs, readback, AgentData/Codex paths; design vs dry-run vs runtime vs authority evidence.
  11. 11-gate-b-readiness-and-chairman-authorization-packet-2026-06-22.md — full Gate B packet + exact-scoped Chairman authorization template mapped onto the live (empty) governance_build_authorization surface; no token asserted to exist.
  12. 12-codex-style-adversarial-self-review-2026-06-22.md — A1–A25; each input / expected rejection / actual contract response / evidence / can-PASS=No.
  13. 13-final-readiness-decision-2026-06-22.md — 17-criterion readiness decision; preparation-gap check; verdict.
  14. codex-review-packet-ready-to-assemble-lego1-2026-06-22.md — what to verify, adversarial checks, allowed verdicts, what acceptance does/does-not authorize.
  15. ../macro-ready-to-assemble-lego1-2026-06-22.md — macro rollup (reports level).

One-line thesis

LEGO #1 is C1, the canonical_operation vocabulary contract — a root-producer carrier with no incoming carrier dependency, the lowest authority risk (reference data, not an owner/approval/registration act), the cleanest local versioned-supersession rollback, and a confirmed CANONICAL_OPERATION_VOCABULARY_REQUIRED_NOT_PRESENT runtime gap — so its full build/test/rollback/evidence/Gate-B preparation can be completed now, leaving only authority/execution to perform later behind Gate B + an exact-scoped Chairman token.

Boundaries (held in every file)

REGISTRATION_HOLD retained · REGISTRATION_CAN_PROCEED = NO · 0 runtime mutations · no P2 opened · no named lane opened · no carrier / Owner / scope / register_dot / APR / approval / handler created · no canonical-operation runtime rows created · no registrar/validator patch · no RS-VALIDATOR · no rollback executed · no Chairman authorization asserted to exist · Job A not reopened · I1–I10 not weakened · no mega-registry / mega-graph / mega-birth pipeline · oracle PASS ≠ runtime permission · readiness-for-plan ≠ readiness-to-write · engineering/contract PASS ≠ authority/runtime PASS.

Single next step: independent (GPT → Codex) review of this preparation package only. On accept, the prepared C1 plan becomes the input to a future Gate B evaluation that, only if satisfied (per-carrier dependency-safe rollback proof + current preflight + exact-scoped Chairman token + independent plan review + no mutation), may open the named C1 lane only. Registration/activation/register_dot/P3 remain separate later gates. Residual ⇒ READY_TO_ASSEMBLE_LEGO1-PATCH1 (future).
