0. Status and non-authorization

STATUS: PASS — engineering / design-only. The before-state inventory a delete-fast must capture (DFE-1). Engineering PASS ≠ authority PASS. Default: HOLD.

1. Purpose

Define the pre-disposal inventory that scopes what will be deleted.

2. Sources / evidence read

Macro-4 delete-fast evidence requirements (D39, DFE-1); delete candidate (28); run candidate (23). Main process, no reader-agents.

3. Accepted baseline (carried)

The disposal unit is enumerable by run id/namespace; the inventory is the basis for the after-state comparison.

4. Evidence / analysis — before-state inventory (DFE-1)

Item Captured
candidate-row count yes
candidate inspect_* count yes
staging-evidence count yes
run checksum / run id yes
production member count (must be 0) yes

5. Candidate / requirement / gate / result

The before-state is the pre-disposal snapshot of the run's artifacts. No surface exists (no build); the inventory is an obligation. A before-state that includes any production row fails immediately.

6. Owner-gated future work

Capturing a real before-state is part of a build; forbidden now.

7. What remains unresolved

No surface; no before-state captured.

8. Ready for GPT/Codex review

Yes — Codex should confirm the before-state requires zero production members.
