Knowledge Graph — Topic×Process Bridge Companion (2026-06-04)

Companion to d1-knowledge-graph-curated-cluster-2026-06-04.md. Connects the knowledge_graph topic (AX-TOPIC) to the dot:kg process family (AX-PROCESS) now that both axes are live and dot:kg has a correlated dry-run. Editorial scaffolding; no source IU edited.

The bridge

  • Topic side: knowledge_graph is the convergence hub — all 16 topic IUs are sections of one doc (dieu39-knowledge-graph-law.md); IU 10649925 (#7-36-dot-kg) bridges the KG topic to the 18 dot:kg DOTs.
  • Process side: the dot:kg family (18 on-demand producers) is the executable face of that topic. EXPLAIN is the proven pilot; doc 06 lays out the 10-process split.
  • One hub, two axes: the KG topic explains what the graph means; the dot:kg process explains how the system reasons over it. The same node set (knowledge_graph) anchors both.

Why this is now writable

Before this chapter, the process side was structural-only (no runtime). Now there is a correlated dry-run with a real producer and a passing verifier. Content can describe the KG system as a working reasoning loop — producer under a grounding contract, deterministic verifier — and point to live evidence (run 703f08e4).

Editorial backlog (Topic×Process)

  1. KG overview narrative — what the graph is + how dot:kg reasons over it (uses this bridge + d1 cluster). DRAFT-READY.
  2. dot:kg family page — the 10 process defs (doc 06) as a reader-facing capability map. PENDING owner split (PROC-OWN-04) for final codes.
  3. Process discovery overview — see process-discovery-overview-narrative-2026-06-04.md.
  4. Governance note — KG content changes flow through the same owner queue (PROC-OWN-*) as the process axis.

Next editorial actions

  • Expand #1 into a full narrative once the owner confirms terminology for the KG law sections.
  • Hold #2's final DOT codes until PROC-OWN-04 resolves the split.
  • No blocker for #1/#3 — they can be drafted now.
